Author @ Kids Lit Fest- Chennai

As a children’s book author, I truly enjoy the hustle and bustle of Literature Festivals. There is a good line up of events, delicious food, but most importantly an opportunity to learn from and interact with other authors.

The Kids Lit Fest that happened in Palladium, Phoenix Mall, Chennai, was no different. I got to speak about my books in front of an audience that included both children and adults alike. At first it was a bit challenging for me to speak with the back drop of shoppers, but once I got used to it, the energy felt magical.

What made the event even more special was that I got to cherish the moment with Samyuktha Nair, the founder of Paper Lantern Books. She also spoke about her work and her interest in historical narratives. We had to cut our session short due to time constraints, but many kids showed enthusiasm by approaching us for conversations after our session was over.

I am glad that I got the opportunity to be part of the Kids Lit Fest and I am looking forward to more. The shared moments are infectious indeed!
